Don't assume that the same helmet will protect your child in a variety of activities. Different
helmets are designed to withstand different types of impact. For example - bicycle helmets are
designed to withstand injuries to the front of the head, while roller skate helmets are designed
to protect the back of the head, where most injuries occur.
